Designing Group Projects
Group projects and other forms of collaborative assignments provide meaningful learning experiences for students and instructors. Students working together on an assignment promotes active learning, . . . which in turn develops essential skills such as critical thinking, communication, and decision making. For group projects to be successful, their design requires careful thought and planning.
In this workshop, we will share strategies that leverage the benefits of group assignments and minimize student and instructor frustration.
