Join us for a special event featuring the author of “Remembering and Forgetting in the Age of Technology: Teaching, Learning, and the Science of Memory in a Wired World..” This session will include a brief presentation on how digital technology affects our memory and societal practices, followed by an interactive Q&A. The author will touch on key ideas from their book, exploring the relationship between technology, memory, and society. Attendees will have the chance to ask questions and engage in a discussion about the digital age’s impact on how we remember and forget. This event is perfect for anyone interested in technology’s role in our lives today. Participants have the opportunity to attend on site at the Mt. Washington Conference Center in Baltimore, MD or virtually via Zoom.

Additionally, this session serves as the concluding event of the WSE Spring 2024 Book Club and marks the exciting kickoff to the 2024 Faculty Forward Fellowship program. It’s a unique opportunity to further explore the insights and discussions sparked by our latest book club pick while also looking forward to the innovative ideas and projects that will emerge from the Faculty Forward Fellowship in the coming year.
