Date: 06/16/2021, 2:00 PM
Presenters: Diane Banner, Kimberly Barss, Robin Sinn, Sharon Morris
Session Description
Open Educational Resources (OER) are ready-made learning materials that may be included in courses without any charge to the institution or students. They include textbooks, videos, podcasts, websites, labs, and simulations. Using OER in a course can reduce development time and introduce high-quality interactive materials that will enhance student engagement. During this session, participants will learn what OERs are, where to find OER for the engineering and STEM disciplines, and see examples of high quality OER integration in Engineering for Professionals courses.
