Session Description
his interactive workshop introduces faculty to practical ways generative AI can enhance assessment and feedback in online courses. Participants will explore how AI can expand assessment strategies to support formative learning, elevate assessments to foster higher-order thinking, and improve the quality and timeliness of feedback. We will also consider how to guide students in using AI for instant feedback on their work, while addressing challenges such as bias, privacy, and maintaining trust. Through examples, guided practice, and discussion, you will leave with concrete strategies and adaptable prompts ready to integrate into your own teaching.
